Overview

Also don’t forget to have the delicious food which is available in Kolkata and visit the famous places like the Birla planetarium, botanical garden, Howrah bridge. Then visit the famous Darjeeling, this beautiful hill station is located at a height of 2050 meter, this destination is also famous for the tea gardens, which are located here, you can also see the beautiful tea estate, where you can witness the making of tea from the inception. Then visit the Mall Road, where you can shop for the souvenirs. Then also pay a visit to Kanchenjunga Peak at the famous tiger hill. Not to forget to visit the Ghoom monastery which has a great importance and is dedicated to the Maiterya Buddha, see the hand written scripts, the proceed to visit the Batista Loop, which is visited in the toy train. Not to miss the Darjeeling zoo, where you can witness the flora and fauna. Then proceed towards the next destination, I.E. Pemayangste, here you can visit the 2 small beautiful towns which are Melli and Jorethang. These 2 towns are unique and are amazing to experience.Also visit the Pemayangste monastery (the oldest monastery of Sikkim). Here you can visit the beautiful waterfall as well as the beautiful village. Then don’t forget to drop yourself at the mesmerizing Gangtok, where you can visit the world famous, also pay a visit to the famous temple Baba Harbhajan Singh, and seek the blessings of Almighty. After visiting the famous attractions of Gangtok arrive at Bagdogra, and board the flight back home!! Hope to see you again.

Itinerary

Day-01

Arrival at the airport of Kolkata, from their our customer rep will help in the transfer to the hotel. Check-inn, overnight in hotel.

Day-02

In the morning have the delicious breakfast at the hotel. Post that proceed for visiting the Fort William, a fort which was built on the eastern side of the Hoogly river. In the British era, by William 3 of England. Then proceed for visiting St. Paul Cathedral which is a colossal structure, located in the city centre, which reminds of the colonial era. It is also known as the world’s biggest planetarium, Then visit Birla Planetarium(Nehru Planetarium) which is the biggest planetarium in the world and named after India’s first prime minister, post that visit the beautiful and spectacular Botanical Garden which is spread across 273 acres. It was established in 1787. Its old name was company garden. Overnight at Kolkata.

Day-03

In the morning, have the breakfast at the hotel, then check-out from the hotel, its now the time to move towards the upcoming destination, I.E Darjeeling, via visiting Bag Dogra. Post checkout transfer back to the Kolkata airport. Board the flight for Bag Dogra. Arrival at Bag Dogra. From there you will be travelling by road towards Darjeeling, which is around 2h-3h drive from Bag Dogra. Arrival at Darjeeling, transfer to the hotel. Check in. Darjeeling is a breathtakingly gorgeous hill station, which is located at a height of 2050 meter. Its majorly known worldwide for its giant tea gardens. Post check in to your hotel, its time for you to experience live a toy train ride in the tea plantations, to witness the beautiful tea estates of Darjeeling, in which you will also see the beautiful scenic vies of mountains and vallies. Post the train ride take a stroll in the famous market known as The Mall Road, where you can shop the local souvenirs also the various appealing items, the delicious delicacies and much more. Post that you go for the live witnessing the view from the Kanchenjunga peak at the famous Tiger Hill, while sipping a hot cup of coffee or tea freshly brewed at Darjeeling.

Day-04

In the morning, get up a bit early today to go to the Tiger hill to witness live the breath-taking view of the sunrise. After that come back to the hotel and have the breakfast. Tiger hill is the highest peak of Darjeeling. Post that visit E manuscripts of Budhha. Then visit the Batista Loop which is the route of the toy train. This loop has a great view of 360 degrees, and is one of the best picturesque place of Darjeeling. Then proceed further to visit Peace Pagoda, which was built to get peace and prosperity. It showcases the various avatars of Buddha and welcomes people from all over the globe. Them it’s the time to witness and visit one of the best zoo, of Darjeeling which is known as Himalyan Zoological Park(Darjeeling Zoo). Which is home to the many kind of animals. Post this relax and refresh for a while and then take steps forward to go at the Observatory hill, the hill top of to witness the best ariel view of Darjeeling. Here also visit a temple known as Mahakal Temple. Then pass through the refugee help centre, which was built for the Tibetan refugees. Then return to the hotel. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Day-05

In the morning, have the breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel, and start proceeding to the next destination of the trip. Pemayangste. Arrival at Pemayangste, check-in the hotel. This place passes through 2 small towns, which are Melli and Jorethang. Melli is one the few towns which lie across the two states of india. Jorethang is the other small town which is situated on Ranjeet river, in southern part of Sikkm. Overnight at Pemayangste.

Day-06

In the morning, have the breakfast at the hotel. Then proceed to visit the Pemayangste Monastery(the oldest monastery of Sikkim). Post that visit to the famous view point Rabdentse Palace Ruins. Later then proceed to pay a visit to daran village. Also go to the Rimpi Waterfalls and orange gardens which are located close to each other. In the evening talk a small walk of the village area. Overnight stay at Pemayangste.

Day-07

In the morning, have the breakfast at the hotel, then proceed for the check-out, now the tour is taking a turn towards a new destination. Today we are going to visit Gangtok. Transfer to gangtok, arrival, check-in the hotel. Then go for a drive of the small city around the lush green mountains, narrow roads, tranquil atmosphere. Witnessing the pagoda structure houses, getting a picturesque on every corner. Then in the evening go for a walk around the town and see the life of locals and also see their lifestyle. Over night at Gangtok.

Day-08

In the morning, have the breakfast at the hotel. Then proceed further to visit the world famous lake named Tsonmgo Lake which Is 12400 ft, which is approximately 40 km from the main city area of Gangtok. Tsonmgo lake is about 1km and 15 meters deep lake. Then pay a visit to a temple which is known as Baba Harbhajan Singh temple. Which is almost located 16-17 kilometers from the lake. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day-09

In the morning, have the breakfast at the hotel. Then check-out and drive towards Kalipong, which is around 90Kms from Gangtok. Prior that cover few other sight seeing tourist attractions of gangtok, start with visiting the Rumtek Monastery, then proceed towards the beautiful Banjhakhri Falls, post that see the Institute of Tibetology. Then go to Do-Drul-Chorten and Flower Exhibition centre. Later, start the journey toward kalimpong. Arrival at Kalimpong, check in the hotel. Relax for some time, then go for a short tour around the city visit Durpin Monastery, take astroll in deolo park then visit the Mc Farane Memorial Church which is named after a Scottish missionary. Overnight at Kalimpong.

Day-10

In the morning, have the breakfast at the hotel, then start the day with a visit to Durpin hill, where you can explore the famous zong dog palriFo Brang Monastry that belongs to dalai lama. Post that proceed to the Jelapla view point, Pine view point, Chitra Bhanu, also visit Kalim temple and Dr. Graham’s Homes Complex. Then visit DELLO HILL, which is 5556 ft and is the highest point on kalimong. From here you can see the entire area of kalimong, along the beautiful small villages, and Teesta River on the other side. After seeing these mesmerizing places visit the Haat Bazar of Kalimong in the evening. Overnight at Kalimong.

Day-11

In the morning, have the breakfast at the hotel, then check-out. Then proceed towards back to Bagdogra, by road. Arrival at Bagdogra, now board the flight to Kolkata. Arrival at Kolkata, transfer to the hotel. Evening market visit at Kolkata for the shopping. Overnight at Kolkata.

Day-12

In the morning, check-out from the hotel after taking the breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your return flight.
