Itinerary

Pickup from Cochin Airport by our representative. Check in to the Hotel of your choice. Cochin, the queen of the Arabian Sea, has forever been on every travelers wish list. Colonialism is ubiquitous in Cochin, as Fort Kochi and Mattancherry exhibit glimpses of its glorious past through its European churches eg: St Francis, palaces, alleyways, fishing nets and much more. The spice markets, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch palace, beaches, which are a short drive away have slowly made their way to the list of things to do and experience in Cochin. Let us perceive Cochin from a different angle as a destination. Overnight stay in cochin.
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Munnar for local sightseeing like Photo Point, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Blossom Park, and Honeybee Tree. Post delicious meal, take a good nights sleep in the comfy premium hotel room.
The southern part of India is famous for its tea and coffee plantations, one such heaven of peace, tranquility, and breathtaking natural beauty mixed with vast expanses of tea plantations in Munnar in Gods own country. Munnar is one of the biggest tea-plantations and one of the best hill stations in the South.Apart from absorbing the beauty of Munnar wrapped in green carpets of tea gardens, spend some time in the wild. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Thekkady. The very sound of the word Thekkady gives up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. In the Periyar Forest, Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India, and spread across the entire district are plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks. On the outskirts of Periyar Sanctuary, the plantation town has its aroma on the air. Coming back to the Town in the Evening as well as the vibrant Kathakali dance performance and shopping is possible in the spice market of these spicy lands. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Alappuzha, also known as Venice of the East, is famous for its boathouse cruises. Watching the sun go down across the backwaters from the boat while it cruises across dense paddy fields, well-kept small villages lined with palm trees is truly once in a lifetime experience. Traveling in a houseboat in Alleppey is an enchanting experience in itself. Two things make Alleppey houseboat packages perfect: the right company and the right package.
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a beautiful backwater destination. Local sightseeing of Kumarakom, Bird Sanctuary, Vembandhu lake, backwater or Sunset. Overnight stay in Kumarakom. In the morning, TTJ representative will drop you at Cochin airport for your return journey home.

Sustainable Travel

Tourism can be a real help to local communities, providing income, positive cultural exchange, and a financial incentive to protect their natural environment. Ours is a 'total approach' to sustainable tourism, covering everything from the way we plan and operate our trips to the practices of Exodus as a company.

As much as possible, we try to use accommodation that is locally owned or at least employs local staff and uses local produce. This ensures that our visit directly benefits the local community by providing them with job opportunities and a chance to generate income. Water is especially important and whilst we must stay hydrated, it is also vital to not cause too much waste from single use plastic bottles. Hence, we provide large water containers so that clients can refill their reusable water bottles.

In Jordan we are very proud to work with a local partner that received the Travelife Partner award in July 2021. Travelife is a certification system dedicated to achieving sustainable practices in the global tourism industry. In order to receive the award our Jordanian partner had to comply with over 100 criteria related to Corporate Social Responsibility. The Travelife standard is formally recognised for full compliance with the UN Sustainable Tourism Criteria.
