Overview

As we all know, India is a land of diversified culture, and religion, here in India, there are many different cultures at different places. There are destinations which holds a great importance and are visited by the tourists from all over the globe. Among all the destinations of India, there are few destinations which are preferred by most of the tourist, they are Jaipur, Agra, Jhansi, Khajuraho, Varanasi, Delhi.

Delhi, being the capital city, just not have a label of a tourist attraction, but also holds a great history and back ground, this destination, saw a giant historic period where it was made and demolished several times, and even the name of Delhi, was changed few times! Here in Delhi, you can see the monument which is there from Millennium, to a structure which has been created recently. Delhi, is unique and has all the positive characteristics to be a wonderful destination for the tourist, to arrive. Not leaving the other destinations like, Jaipur, it is one of the gem of Rajasthan, where you can witness sheer culture and heritage. The city of Jaipur is also known as the Pink city. This city id famous for the forts and the heritage monuments, also the special hand-crafted items of Rajasthan. Not the less Agra also is a remarkable destination, it has the world-famous attraction, which is also a UNESCO world heritage site, The Taj Mahal, the great attraction, was made by the Mughal Emperor, Shahjahan, for his beloved wife Mumtaz. Also Agra is very famous for its food and the hand crafted products. Apart from these unmatched destinations, there is much more to explore in India, like The Orchha in Jhansi, Varanasi, Khajuraho. These destinations are unique in themselves, like Orchha is famous for the 16^th and 17^th century temples, Varanasi is famous for the Holy Ghats,Khajuraho is famous for the ancient temples. All these destinations are very important and a must to explore, when you visit India. Explore them and take back essential knowledge and good memories!

Itinerary

Day-1

Arrive at Indra Gandhi International Airport. There meet our representative. Then transfer to the hotel. Check-in. Overnight in Delhi.

Day-2

In morning post taking a delicious breakfast at the hotel, start your tour of Delhi by visiting, Raj-Ghat, the cremation premises of Mahatma Gandhi (The Father of The Nation). Then proceed towards Jama Masjid, also drive past the area of red fort and Chandni Chowk. In afternoon visit the great piece of architecture designed by Qutub-ud-abik, i.e Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb. Post seeing these wonderful attractions take a step further and reach the area where the Amar Jawan is lit up i.e., India Gate where the retreat ceremony also takes place on Independence Day. Then proceed to get the blessing of goddess Lakshmi by visiting the Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Post that Past Drive the Parliament House and the other Government Buildings. Also visit the central hub which is one of the most famous places of Delhi to shop and eat, I.e. Connaught place. Overnight at Hotel in Delhi.

Day-3

In the morning, have a delicious breakfast, then checkout from the hotel, then start your journey towards the next destination, I.E Jaipur (by road). Arrive at Jaipur, transfer to the hotel, check-in. Then relax for a while. Then evening at Leisure. Later, have a lip-smacking dinner at the hotel. Overnight at Jaipur.

Day-4

In the morning, have the breakfast at the hotel, then start the day with visiting the Amber Fort.(with one way Elephant ride-to ascend). The ancient capital of the state. Also visit the sheesh Mahal OR the HALL OF VICTORY. Dazzling with Mirrors, Afternoon take a spectacular tour of Jaipur- the capital of Rajasthan. It was given a colour coat of PINK a century ago in honour of visiting Prince , know it’s also known as the Pink City. It was built by Maharaja Jai Singh the notable astronomer. This pink city is 260 years old. Visit the Maharaja’s city Palace, Observatory, and Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal and the pink rose residential areas. Then later arrive baak at the hotel. Relax for a while after a long hectic day. Then have a delicious dinner at the hotel. Overnight at Jaipur.

Day-5

In the morning, have a lip-smacking, breakfast. Then checkout form the hotel. Now start the journey towards Agra via paying a visit to the Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri which was built by Akbar in 1569, then it was abandoned for 15 years due to scarcity of water, witness the magnificent buildings Including Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and Other Places. Later arrive at Agra, check-in the hotel. Evening at leisure, later have a lip-smacking dinner. Overnight at the hotel in Agra.

Day-6

In the morning have the breakfast and proceed further for the day. Visit the Agra Fort, then visit the one of the wonders of the world. THE TAJ MAHAL, Taj Mahal (which was built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 AD for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains). Later visit the Agra fort containing, the halls of public & private audience. Later arrive back at the hotel, evening at leisure. Then have a delighful multi-cuisine dinner at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Agra.

Day-7

In the morning have a delicious breakfast, then checkout from the hotel in Agra, and start the journey towards the next destination. Checkout from the hotel, and transfer to the railway station. To board the train from Agra to Jhansi. Arrive at Jhansi, then checkout from the railway staion, then start your drive towards Khaujrao. Arrive at Khajuraho, transfer to the hotel, check-in. Rest of the day at leisure. Later have a lip-smacking, dinner at the hotel, overnight at Khajuraho.

Day-8

In the morning, have a delicious breakfast, then start for the day and proceed to Visit the world famous Khajuraho temples, which were built by the Chandela Kings between 950ad and 1050 ad. The most important are Chaunset Yogini dedicated to Goddess Kali, The Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta or Bharatji Temple with a lovely image of 11 headed Vishnu, Vishvanath and Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, Visha Temple of Shiva, which is the largest and the most typical of temples. Also visit the eastern group of temples that consists of the Parasvanath Temple - the only Jain Temple surviving at Khajuraho and has excellent sculptures on the outer walls of the Sanctum, The Javeri Temple dedicated to lord Vishnu. The other temples in this group are those which are dedicated to Brahma, Yamuna and Adinath. Overnight stay at Khajuraho.

Day-9

In the morning, have a delicious breakfast, then transfer to the airport, to board the flight to Varanasi. Arrive at Varanasi, transfer to the hotel, check-in, then rest of the day at leisure. Later in the evening, pay a visit to the evening arrti at the ghats of river Ganga at Varanasi. Later arrive back at the hotel, then have a delicious meal at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Varanasi.

Day-10

In the morning, get up early and go for a boat ride. On the river Ganges, where people of the city take bathe early in the morning to offer prayers to the Lord Sun. There are 2 cremation ghats Manikarnika and Harishchandra, where the funeral pyre burns day and night. In the Hindu religion, it is believed that to spend your last moment in Kashi and to be cremated on the banks of the river ganges is to attain ultimate moksha, I.E. release from the cycle of birth and death. Then arrive back at the hotel and have a lip-smacking breakfast, then proceed further towards the tour of Varanasi and Sarnath. Pay a visit to the Bharat Mata Mandir, which is dedicated to our country India. There no such deity located here, but there is a beautiful map of India Carved into the marble. Followed by the visit to the Durga Temple. Pay a visit to the Tulsi Manas Mandir which is dedicated to Lord Rama and named after a saint –poet Tulsi Dasa. Then pay a visit to the Art Gallery of Banaras Hindu University. See the Mosque of the Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb. Then head towards Sarnath city, where Lord Buddha gave his first session. Sarnath was a renowned school of learning from the 6th century B.C to 12th Century. Then later transfer to the airport to board the flight to Delhi. Arrive at Delhi, transfer to the hotel, check-in, then relax for a while. Have a delicious dinner at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

Day-11

In the morning, have a delicious breakfast, then the rest of the day is at leisure. You can explore the brautiful city of Delhi, according to you. Eat and shop at your favourite places, and explore the city with a first-hand experience. Later in the evening, arrive back at the airport, then checkout from the hotel and transfer at the airport, to board the flight back home.
